Parasol, the genesis

It's been almost 10 years since my mum was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (one of the three types of skin cancer) that I've been looking for a brand that offers cool anti-UV clothing. There are some nice initiatives but many of them are more sport or beach clothes, not much for everyday life...

IN MARCH 2020, I DECIDED TO GET STARTED AND CREATE THIS ANTI-UV ALTERNATIVE:

create a beautiful piece of clothing that you want to wear for all occasions and that provides maximum protection against the sun.

In creating the brand, my first challenge was to make a realistic assessment to decode the issues, on the anti-UV side, but also on the ready-to-wear side.

I wanted to fully understand all the major transitions to come in order to look far ahead and be an actor in the changes to be driven. It was also a question of analyzing the real needs thanks to the realization of questionnaires and the collection of testimonies: our habits in the face of the sun, survey with a doctor and an association... contacting all the stakeholders to best respond to all expectations. Ombrelle was born from all these exchanges.

I then looked for committed partners who believe in Ombrelle's mission and who want to do great things by doing them well.
